Chloe has been asking for Pau, not any pau but lotus paste pau
I can buy up to $10 worth of pau each time and its gone within a day. That's how much pau we eat!!
So i decided to make them after i getting lotus paste and the recipe book by Ages Cheong from Sun Lik. My 1st attempt failed badly, the pau skin was very mushy [too much water] the lotus paste texture was wrong since it was meant for mooncake. After doing some research online, i finally found my ideal pau recipe at

This pau tasted much better, using a mixer does make the work easier and less messy. I managed to control the fluid this time, but i think i need to increase it a little. Still trying to figure it right.
The lotus paste was bought from a wholesaler at Defu Lane [thanks to the recommedation from cuisine asia]
