We never realised how some simple words could meant so much till we are in trying situations
Last Monday, I brought the children to several places to run errands ......
Its was challenging as Caleb was not behaving approriately in public places ..... spilling soup, whining and shouting
More demanding was the journey home when i was carrying Caleb on my baby carrier lounging 3 bags of winer clothing taking mrt and bus.
Deep inside me, I was angry with Chloe for not accepting my suggestion of taking taxi .....
Having so many things to handle, I need to handle a sleepy Chloe who nearly fell asleep in the bus and when we alight, it rained!!!
My back is failing me and i wish i am a octopus with hold umbrella and Chloe ..... i really felt like giving up
Only then Chloe helped me with a bag, she said "Mummy, are you ok?"
"No, I am tired" was my reply
"Mummy. you can do it"
These words was like an booster jab, I just have to do it!!
On days when its challenging, my children's "mummy are you ok?" meant a lot to me ..... its like a pat on the shoulder!! Jia you!
