I had jsut got a new toy - WMF pressure cooker.
Have been using it to make many dessert like tao suan and cooking baby food.
Have been wanting to make Pulot HItam as it usually takes hours to cook
Intially i cook it for 30 mins with 1 red ring. However i decided to cook a while longer since i find the texture too grainy ...
I left instructions to my helper to help me watch while i went off ....
When i came back i was told that the pulot hitam was shooting out from the pressure cooker and scare the daylight out of my mum and helper.
Still wondering how did that happen? When i opened it, realised that the bottom was sl burnt and not enough fluid left.
Taste wise, its very much the same
