I need to finish up my milk and cheddar cheese, a quick browse on KC and found a similar recipe, a savoury muffin.
A quick and simple method, just mix the things together. Just what i need
Makes 12 muffins
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups self raising flour
200ml milk
125g grated cheese
100g ham(cut into smaller pieces)
60g butter(salted, melted)
1 egg
100 g light brown sugar
Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, add butter and sugar to mix.
2. Add egg and milk to beat/mix together.
3. Add flour to mix till its well mixed.
4. Add cheese, stir to mix evenly.
5. Line muffin tray with paper muffin cups.
6. Pour batter mix till 3/4 full.
7. Add ham pieces on top.
8. Baked in preheated oven 180C for 20 mins.
PS: Need to press the ham into the batter so as to prevent burning (i did not do it that resulted in burnt ham)
Verdict: Its soft and tender with a lovely cheese fragrant
