When i was much younger, i remember this wonderful tool (with a very interesting name Sabu lili) that my mum would use to sweep water whenever she wash toilet or she will use it to remove dust from the ceiling. This tool would always be hanged at a corner of the toilet ....
Sometimes, u do see the cleaners use this to sweep leaves by the road too.
Somehow with time and the invention of static duster and scrapper?, this tool has lost it functionality.
In fact you can buy it anymore ...... did u know how and what was it made of?
Its coconut stalk, after you remove the leaves and tie a bundle together that's what you get:
You can use the stalk of greens or dried coconut stalk but the best will be green as it would be more long lasting. Since its spring cleaning time, this tool would be most appropriate .....
What's more its made by my mum at grandma's place, that happened to have a coconut tree
